Samsung begins work on iTunes-like product

samsungChoi Gee-sung, head of digital media at Samsung Electronics, speaking at a South Korean press conference on Friday announced the development of an iTunes-like software. It isn't clear, despite the plethora of articles on this subject, whether they are planning to make a software player or launch a music download service or both. Perhaps Samsung isn't happy after a chip deal fell through with Apple earlier this month. We don't speak Korean, but apparently Choi talked some smack at the press conference. He said "that Samsung MP3 players were superior to Apples but suffered for not having a music service." Riiiiiiight.
