Free SNL video available on iTunes

iTunes and NBC have made available, for free download, a digital short that appeared on last weekend's Saturday Night Live. Called 'Lazy Sunday,' it is a rap video starring Adam Samberg and Chris Parnell as they rap their way to a screening of the 'Chronicles of Narnia,' and in the process eat a bunch of cupcakes. It is the funniest thing I have seen on SNL in a long, long time and well worth the price (oh, right it is free!).

What a great Christmas present, thanks Apple and NBC!

puhhhleeze remember that apple does not own the content! it's not up to them what contries have access, it's up to the content creators.

There are awesome video podcasts. Oh and maybe this skit is funnier to those who have had magnolia cupcakes. Those are crazy delicious

I think its kind of sad that something theyre giving away for free cant be downloaded unless you have an account on the US itunes store. My account is on the UK site and I simply cant download either of the "free gifts" :(

I can understand that there might be various copyrights etc involved which is why they cant do it but cant they do a UK (and other European countries) equivalent?

End Rant

I guess it's pretty funny. I'm glad it was free though. I think iTunes could really sell even more videos if they contiue with this free business.

Like the music, maybe have 2 or 3 free short downloads a week. Picture an even larger halo effect than now. From download videos on iTunes for free, to paying for them, to buying a 5th gen. iPod, to buying a Mac.

Brilliant.

I should get paid for this stuff.

Thank the good holidays that SNL and Lorne Michaels hired the entire Lonely Island crew. That is probably the best thing they have ever done. Now as soon as they fire all of the regular players and just keep the featured crew, SNL will be back where it once was. True, they don't have the talent they once had, but they always go through dry periods. I'm just waiting for the old "Saturday Night Dead" and "Saturday Night Lifeless" gags to come back. Those didn't get old (Sarcasm).
