Favorite Blog client

MarseditThe Apple Blog wants to know what your favorite blog client is. I have made no effort to hide the fact that I enjoy using MarsEdit for a number of reasons. It is fast, the UI is well thought out, and it just gets out of your way.

Ecto, for  my money, has a tendency to over power you with the number of windows and choices that you have. MarsEdit gives you less in the way of options, but I think that actually makes the product much more usable.

What do you use to blog?

I've been using Ecto for a week, I've been quite impressed, but reading here, I think I'll try MarsEdit to compare. I don't like the way Ecto puts tags at the side, I haven't managed to upload a photo successfully from iphoto yet, but the basic functions are well done and simply enough to figure out quickly.

Now I have to try Etco and MarsEdit. You all make them sound so good. But what about MacJournal? http://www.marinersoftware.com/sitepage.php?page=85
No one mentioned that and I think it's on sale till the first of the year.

I use Mars Edit with half a dozen WordPress blogs and a Typepad blog. It works beautifully for me. Being able to create custom tags is extremely useful, and of course the bookmarklet to pull things straight off a web page into Mars Edit.

I use MarsEdit to update both my WordPress blog and Livejournal. I've tried Ecto and various Livejournal clients, but MarsEdit has been my favorite.

I use ecto, but I have a slight issue where occasionally with my wordpress blog it will not actually make the blog entry viewable at all. I have to delete the entry and repost it for it to be viewed.

I use ecto. The best feature it has is it keeps me from ever seeing the horrible interface that is the WordPress admin area.

I hate it when you guys link to a search inside TUAW instead of linking directly to a product page. That's so Engadget-y. It really gets on my nerves.

Anyways, I only use the BlogThis! bookmarklet that blogger offers. Very handy. And probably if someday I switch to some other blogging system I'd use the Admin page. I feel they are more reliable, don't ask me why. It's just a feeling.

I use ecto. I used to use Marsedit, but at the time it had annoying incompatibilities with the blogger API, so I bought ecto. I think those bugs have been ironed out of Marsedit, but I've gotten used to ecto, so I'm sticking to it.
