Depending on how much the hardware requirements are I'd use this if included with an external DVR box. I'd also be curious if and when TiVo releases their software (probably to Windows first) if EyeTV would improve even more. Apple wants us to buy $40 season sets that aren't anywhere close to DVD quality and are platform restricted. Easy, but crippled. I'm getting sick of the commercials on TV so I expect some innovation in commercial skip to seal the deal. It's either that or I wait for Netflix.

Just bought this, downloading as I speak.
I love EyeTV so much it hurts, and with these new features, it looks even better!

Save your money. The integrated program grid does not work. At all.

I live in the UK and have Freeview coming in through the EyeTV 410 box. The integrated program grid certainly does work, using both the DVB guide or the tvtv.com guide.
I can't believe how easy it is to just click on the little red button and have it set to record.
My only problem now is finding the time to watch all the tv I record!

EyeTV 2's integrated TitanTV EPG works for me, with these issues:
Program start times displayed in the grid are 30 minutes earlier than their actual start times but are added correctly when scheduled.
The Description text for a program is missing when scheduling an item by clicking its "grid dot". A workaround is to click the program box in the grid to view its details, then click the Add Schedule button.
Only a week of upcoming schedule is downloaded; the TitanTV web site gives you two weeks.
No "display channel" view, like on the web site.
Search string doesn't always find matching program titles
No saved searches
The EPG is the #1 reason I paid for the upgrade and it already works well enough that I'm glad I did. I'm sure there will be improvements, and Nick @ Elgato posted a reply on VersionTracker saying that everything intended for 2.0 didn't make it in time for its Macworld release.

I am having issues with the EPG in the UK using the DVB guide.
Whenever I update the DVB guide, the current channel im watching changes on its own!
It appears to be randomly changing to channels that are currently being updated by the EPG.
I have notified Elgato of the issue.
