Iconic mosaic - literally - of Steve Jobs
Rising up the ranks of my "those with too much time" list, a creative Flickr user by the name of "tsevis" has created an iconic mosaic of Steve Jobs using all sorts of different icons, ranging from product boxes to your favorite pics from the IconFactory. He does a pretty good job of capturing his Steveness in my opinion, and the rest of his Flickr set is equally creative.
Kudos, tsevis. Now where's some mosaic love for Ive?

Hi all @TUAW!
Let me thank you for your kind words of appreciation for my work. It's so nice to see my work here, as I am a big fan of this site.
This mosaic is created with Synthetik StudioArtist, a Mac only program, which I would recommend for everyone who likes the synthetic images and not only the mosaics.
Many thanks once again.
My best greetings from Athens, Greece.
Charis
Actually, the mosaic part is not so difficult: Using the freeware MacOsaiX (http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16250) will get you half way there. provided you have enough pics to start with.

He has some nice work though
Wow, that is a lot of time someone has on their hands. How long you think a mosiac of icons takes?

This is a great mosaic.
And what's even great is that he offered to make a mosaic out of my image. :-)
