NetNewsWire Lite 2.1b18

David mentioned that the NetNewsWire 2.1 beta is out, but what if you don't want to pay for an RSS reader? NetNewsWire Lite is the answer, since it is free and has most of the cool features that NNW offers.

The NNW Lite 2.1b18 release includes NewsGator syncing (which I am loving), the print command, performance enhancements, and it is now a Universal Binary.

and, it is not a downgraded version.
and, it's not preset (sold?) to a given news site.
and, it's free :-)

I indeed am a registered user of NNW (not the lite one) that switched to Vienna because NNW was just *unbelievably* slower. (on about 100 feeds) No surprise they have been able to accelerate.

Just installed beta and everything seems to be okay. Interface is speedier.

All I can say is WOW! This new NetNewsWire is insanely fast. There is absolutely zero lag time with most tasks, and this is on my iBook G4 1.33 GHz using Better Battery Life mode.
