Walt Mossberg has kicked off another round of iPhone speculation, but as the Mac faithful know this is hardly a new topic. The Tao of Mac has decided to start tracking all the mentions of the mythical iPhone, as a sort of monument to the whole ricukus.To get an instant map to any address, just go to your Address Book and right click on the address field of any one of your contacts and select "Map Of." The address will then be revealed in Google Maps on Safari. You can do the same if a data detector determines there is an address in an e-mail in Mail.

I'm already very tired of the iPhone. I also don't think that when/if it comes out, that it will be as great as everyone thinks it will be. I think that the standards Apple sets up for themself, such as the design and aesthetics of it will be lesser somewhat than say an iMac or iPod.

I'm waiting until they stuff an airport card into an iPod then load in a iPod version on Skype.

it is people stating the obvious, as phones improve nobody will want either a camera or music player that is seperate (or pda and eventually laptop) if apple wants to hold on to their market they HAVE to make an iphone, or lose all that they have gained.

If Apple does make an iPhone they better use some more scratch-resistant material than they use on the iPod. I don't want to have to keep my phone in a case like I do with my iPod, and on top of that a phone gets more handling than an iPod. Either way, I just get whatever phone comes free with my service, and I can't imagine an iPhone being free. I don't think they're making one.
