Softbank shoots down rumors of iPhone, Apple partnership

Three cheers for more rumor drama. At least this latest installment is coming from a legitimate source: Softbank, the company Walt Mossberg cited is working with Apple to create the much sought-after 'iPhone'.

Softbank released a statement (in Japanese) that they are in deed not working with Apple on the phone. I guess we'll have to wait a day or two for MacRumors to cough up contradictory information from an 'anonymous source'.
