Apple promotes WWDC by profiling Mac developers

WWDC (that the World Wide Developers Conference to you) is fast approaching, and I can't wait. Apple is promoting it by posting a number of profiles of Mac developers posing with Macs in different San Fran locales (the pages also offer some information about the location that the developer is standing).

What a fun way to build excitement, highlight the work of developers, and promote the city that the event is in. Kudos to you, Apple.

Who is planning on attending WWDC?

You always have to be cynical of big businesses. If they were able to without backlash, they'd exclude any minority from all their advertising. Fools.

Thanks for insinuating that I'm a racist but I'm actually descended from Africa (Ghana to be exact) and I'm probably the most anti-racist person in the history of racism.

Rory, you utter moron, perhaps these people where included because they deserve to be, and not as "token minorities". Don't project your own prejudices on other people.

I will watch the selected sessions on ADC a few months after the event. I do not have the attention span to sit through the sessions live in person. I am sure the new MacPro will be released at ADC, but now that the iMac can drive a secondary monitor I do not need a noisey bulky box under my desk.

If it wouldn't cost me like over $10,000 to get there, then sure! I'd love to go!

I won't be attending, but I'll sure as hell be sitting at my desktop during Jobs keynote, waiting to hear him announce the new Intel-based PowerMacs...and then buy one via store.apple.com shortly thereafter.

Nice to see the token black dude and women shoved in at the end. What I want to know is where the speccy ginger kid is.
