Even as a loving Safari user... that's still a funny commercial.

one of the funny things is that i find safari faster than firefox. although camino beats both hands down.

I like Firefox (and Camino) but I prefer Safari.
And I saw that ad ages ago...

Funny, but old. Wasn't this all over Digg, Slashdot, and such a few months ago? In fact, I think TUAW even hard an article, or at least some Weblogs Inc. site.

firefox always have problems with some languages (like Chinese), so i don't usually use it, just use safari. but i did recommend firefox to my friends who are using windows ie. but still since firefox is not super fast (at least comparing with safari and camino, even opera), and it has the language issue, i don't think it will appear on my dock in the near future....
but the commercial is really funny

This commercial represents another reason that I switched from Firefox to Safari. The effort behind Firefox has moved from producing a technologically excellent web browser to a bloated and arrogant platform that is completely confident of its own superiority. (Not unlike what it was trying to replace.)

** OK People, if Dave keeps up the lousy work I say he get fired from TUAW **
Dave, this is like the 3rd bad post in a month for you, you're just not up to the task of blogging for the Mac Community. This was out 9 months ago, and if you're not going to do your job then simply leave it to the thousands of TUAW'ers who would happily replace you. Let's not forget your lousy DRM post.

I got 5 dollars saying Steve Oedekerk (or however you spell his last name) helped with that.

Looks like a steve Oedekerk thing. Reminded me of the thumbs series of film spoofs he did.
worth checking out if you've never seen them.

Guys: if it was on digg 9 weeks ago, or 11 weeks ago, or 12 years ago - that's spectacular. I mean honestly: truly, truly awesome for digg. With the deepest sincerity: I couldn't be happier for such a spectacular community to have featured this nine weeks ago.
Sometimes, just sometimes... other people don't see the same thing you do, at the same time you do. Difficult concept, I know - but just take a second, if you have one, to try and wrap your head around it.
Wait - what's that? The world hasn't exploded yet? Your computer still works? Life is still - somehow - continuing on as it always has? Incredible. Remarkable. Positively jaw-dropping.

hey mike r, how about you just lay off? this was never on tuaw before, but i seem to recall seeing it on engadget. if you don't like david's work, then you don't have to read it. nobody is holding a gun to your head forcing you to read it, just simply skip over the article. i personally think that he has been doing a pretty good job on tuaw, because i know that neither YOU OR I could do a better job. if you think that you can do a better job, go ahead and start your own apple news blog, and when your site surpasses the daily hit count of tuaw then you can tell us you are doing a better job.
until then...
SHUT UP!
