CamiScript 4.0
CamiScript, the script menu plugin for Camino, has been updated to version 4.0. This isn't quite a landmark release that enables Camino to fly around your room or tell you the future (besides, some day, the latter will be Google's job), but this new version does bring one big handy new feature: the ability to disable/enable the Extras menu.CamiScript is free and can be had from nadamac; oddly, PimpMyCamino hasn't updated yet.

The nadamac link says DOKUMENT NICHT GEFUNDEN. I don't know two words of German, but I think I can puzzle that one out.

Sadly, not there anymore. He has apparently stopped development on both camiscript and camitools, and neither are available for download.
Great stuff, great for Camino, and great that it was free. Hopefully someone else will be able to pick up development.

you were right with your guess, this translates with "document not found", however, if you try http://www.nada.de/dl/ ,you will get a file list. by selecting _CamiScript.dmg with your right mouse button and a "save target as..."* selection, you will get what you wanted and expected.
* that would be "Verknüpfte Datei downloaden..." in german, we german-speakers indeed like to make guessed translations easy for english-speakers.

Its been taken down apparently. From the site:
CamiTools/CamiScript
I've stopped my free Camino projects after two years.
It was much fun but too much work in the last months for maintaining and supporting the whole thing.

What kind of crap is this? I go to the site to download an updated version and find out CamiScript has been discontinued! This better be some kind of sick April fools joke.

Thats odd. When I saw this link this afternoon, it said "CamiTools 4.0" was released, but PimpMyCamino hadn't updated yet..but I went to PimpMyCamino and it had ver.4.6, and NadaMac was up as normal...Now I'm back at night, the topic has changed to "CamiScript 4.0", and NadaMac is gone..wtf? Doesn't TUAW usually say when their topics are edited?

Just clearing up my previous statement, I am mad at NadaMac. I still love TUAW. ;-)

What's weird is that the new Camiscript was just released, and then he not only quit but took the site down. Scaaaarrryy.

The site was down (with the "I've stopped developing" message) at least part of the day yesterday. I know because I tried to update CamiTools after work. Strange that the site apparently was up again for a while today. Or perhaps the TUAW post had been in the queue a while.

OK, to clear a few things up.
PimpMyCamino was busy updating itself at the time, and when the new version launched on Wednesday, it was the same day as developer took Camitools and CamiScript offline. Bad timing!
Camitools is at v4.6, and Camiscript is at 4.0
For the time being, they are both being hosted at PimpMyCamino, but the links within each to get more scripts or search engine plugins won't work. The developer has promised me that he will pass on the source code so that at the very least, the tools can be updated to point to new script repositories etc.
So they are still available, and will be open-sourced in the future!
