Steam powered iMac

I spent much of my college days reading Victorian literature, and since I also happen to be a SciFi geek it should shock no one that I enjoy Steampunk (though I would be shocked if many of you even know what Steampunk is). It seems that Jeremy Deller and Alan Kane share my love of melding 21st and 19th century technologies together because they are responsible for the Steam Powered Internet Machine.
It makes me so happy to live in a world where a steam powered iMac exists.

I always classified Mona Lisa Overdrive as cyberpunk, but it has been a while since I read it...

Dear Willy,
Somebody's never read The Difference Engine.

Ah yes, the essential dead-end for sci-fi known as steampunk (or baroque as well). I know it well and hate it and hope your laptop dies in a horrible blanched death.

Willy
Tom, these guys might have your solution:

They used to be "Iowa Thin Film", but probably changed it because no one believes that technology can develop in Iowa. But luckily that's not true, they've come up with some pretty cool rollable and malleable solar panels
I am interested in finding a great solar power option for my macbook pro. Does anyone know of good products on the market?

That's kick-awesome! I simply adore Steampunk, and what's more, I try to play with my Wilesco miniature steam engine - http://www.wilesco.de/wilesco/us/index.html - at least once a week.
Rock on!
