Happy iCal Day

And my birthday too (I was too busy celebrating to read anything on the Web yesterday).

And I thought my wife made it July 17 so that I'd remember our wedding aniversary!

And it's my birthday too! My husband bought iCal a dozen roses and a pair of earrings, but I only got a new library book due date and an alarm about a meeting tomorrow.

How about the 88th anniversary of the death of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and his family?

I had always assumed that July 17 was the median date of the year (though I never took the time to do the actual calculations.)

If you're going to pick a random date from the year, you might as well pick the one that falls smack in the middle.

I will celebrate it by celebrating my birthday. Which it is.

I'm going to win the superbowl!

Well since today is also my birthday today I'm going out on the town.
Just me, iCal, a bevy of gorgeous women and a lot of beers. It's
gonna be some night.
To be honest I always thought iCal displayed July 17th because it was my birthday. I assumed that at some point I had inputed my birthday during registration and so iCal used that. I had no idea it was a universal thing. So now you have no excuse for forgetting my birthday next year.
