Rig of the Day: The magazine is dead
Magazines are so static. The information you read is almost always out of date by the time it's printed and shipped. The 'net is much more timely, and who doesn't enjoy a little light reading while they're...indisposed. TUAW reader GeoffMyers certainly does, as evidenced by this shot. Just keep those away from the water, ok, Geoff? If you'd like to see your own rig featured here, simply upload photos into our group Flickr pool. We select one image to highlight each day, and crown a Rig of the Week on Sundays.

Unrelated to the article, but for the love of God, take down that flash advertisement with the mosquito buzzing on it. Advertisements should not have sound, nevermind THAT repetitive buzzing sound.

Laptops in the bathroom are grosssss. A laptop should be nowhere near your lap if you're naked from the waist down.
Saxon, you should invest in a browser with ad blocking. Camino and Firefox do it nicely.

Hi. It's Geoff. I just wanted to stress that the photo is a complete JOKE. NO, I do NOT actually keep my PowerBook and iBook in the bathroom. Ever. So, please, rest assured that the computers are always on my CLEAN desk...
