New to version 2 is a full screen mode, a brand new UI, and a new visualizer. This version is a Universal Binary and will cost you $49.95 but there is a 30 day demo available.

Adam: Reason 3 is $400 and Rax is $50. Reason doesn't even host AU plugins, to my knowledge...Rax was designed to be the simplest way to plug in your AU synths and play them live without loading a sequencer. And most of the AU synths that you pay $200+ for sound much better than anything Reason can come up with anyway. (Atmosphere anyone?) Yes, Reason is nice, but it has a totally different purpose.

Heck, I haven't even tried it and I'm defending it. Just trying to bring clarity as to what this app was designed for.
