Widget Watch: Reuters Widget
Attention news junkies: Reuters, that wire service of wire services, has released a free widget for Dashboard. What does it do? It displays up to 10 headlines from your Reuters news channel of choice.Simple, blue, and useful. That's just how I like my widgets.
Update: I also like my widgets to work, which this one doesn't. I thought it was just an extension issue, but it looks like the widget itself is a no go. Here's hoping they update it sooner rather than later. But hey, it is free afterall.
Update to the update: This widget is for the Yahoo! Widget engine, so that would explain the trouble.

Nice to know Reuters can code for vista... umm, err. MacOSX. I swear, the folder that unpacks, looks more like a Winsucks folder than a Mac widget. Hmmm.
Anybody got this figured out? :(

Yep. It's a Konfabulator widget, not a Dashboard widget.

If it's for Konfab.. erm.. Yahoo! Widgets Engine, why does it even mention "dashboard?"

I think this is another reason to stop reading Reuters.
They dont know the difference between Windows and Mac OSX.

What's the point in getting a site-specific widget when you can just get an RSS widget and plug the site's RSS feed in?
