Foom Software

Chris Forsythe and Evan Schoenberg (Adium Lead and Project Managers) just announced a joint venture in the form of new Mac shareware company Foom Software. I understand their excitement in wanting to announce the new project, but it feels a bit premature to go public at this point considering that Foom currently has no software announced or available for download, and won't for at least another month, according to Chris's blog. Foom will be working with the only person Google does not know about Chris Emery, and Vina Venkatesh of MP3 Alarm Clock fame on their secret new mystery product.

It may not be big news now, but it's something to stick in your newsreader and keep an eye on.

Maybe instead of talking about it beign a bit early for them to announce their company we should talk about it being a bit early for TUAW to blog about them announcing their new company and then complaining about them anouncing.

isn't Foom 'Friends of ol' Marvel'? i've a feeling this name may change, unless of course its a programme allowing one to ccess every letter ever written to marvel and all their comics.

Well. Better they make some software and only then announced about their company. And now it's nothing. Maybe they're waiting for orders? It's some sort of advertise

Correction: It's Vinay Venkatesh, and not Vina Venkatesh. http://vinayvenkatesh.com/

If you think it's premature, why would you blog it now?
