Control iTunes from within World of Warcraft

Well here's something I missed last week. This past Tuesday was "patch day" in the world of Warcraft. The latest patch, v. 1.12, brought several changes to the game, including the ability to control iTunes. From the Key Bindings preference window you can set up keys to control play, pause, next, back and volume from within the game. Why would you want to do that? Because that song you hear in each of the inns can get stuck in your head for a long, long time.

Hone, how do you get Growl to overlay WoW when it's in full screen mode? Is that possible?

I just use Synergy and Growl instead

Synergy as it lets me change music with preset keys and Growl to let me know whwat song is playing. Works much much faster than Blizzard's solution as it doesn't put any lag in there at all (5 sec lag in my testing!)

Otherwise I just plug my ipod in ....

Agreed. Much too laggy when hittin' the buttons. And, at first it worked, I could change the volume, or tracks and whatnot, but now it doesn't even work!

I like this feature tho, so I hope Blizz can get it fixed :)

Yes - I tried this when the patch was first released, it froze the game every time I pressed a button. Much easier to go with an AirClick.

Isn't that feature Mac only? I have all Macs, and it's a nice idea, but it lags the game out a bit too much.
