Steven Colbert on the iPhone
Did the iPhone earn a tip of the hat? No, my friends, it earned a wag of the finger. In fact, in this (NSFW) Colbert Report segment, both Apple and the iPhone earn the rare (and feared) double-finger-wag from a critical Colbert. Dropping "computer" from your name, he lectures, does not make you cool. And integrating too many features into a single, easy-to-use platform takes away from the basic rule of life: Whoever dies with the most toys wins. The Apple part starts about a third of the way in, after a cute segment on CES.

i think the NSFW is because he yells "pornography!!!" but i'm not sure since i watch the colbert report at work to pass the time.

In reality Stephen Colbert is just as smitten with the iPhone as the rest of us, he is also a super Apple fan, he showed up at the Apple Fifth Avenue store opening along with James Woods, P. Diddy, Julianne Moore, and practically half the cast of Saturday Night Live.
I'm not surprised the limeys don't get Colbert, he is definitely an All-American Nerd Who Made Good. He is definitely an American taste, just like whoever that new Doctor Who is decidedly a British taste, I can't stand him. Eggleston was a better Doctor.

If you use Safari and then watch the window "activity" as you watch this video you can see the 20 meg FLV file downloading then just double click it and save it. Use the new VLC player to watch it and your sorted.

Didn't work man,
it saves as a .flv.
When I open it with flash player its all white.
When I open it with Flash 8 is forces me through a process to embed it on a site.
Any suggestions?

the flv file can be opened with the VLC player. Free. Wonderful and comes in every flavor:
