Adobe CS3 to ship April 20th?
Amazon.com has apparently spilled the beans on the shipping date for Adobe's CS3 suite, including Photoshop, as April 20th. As we've mentioned before, Adobe has a special event planned for Tuesday (March 27) presumably to announce this very thing. Amazon's Canadian store has Photoshop, for instance, while the US store has CS3 Web Premium, with both listings showing: "This item will be released on April 20, 2007." So now you know just how long you get to keep using that Photoshop CS3 beta. MacNN has a nice post summarizing all of the pricing and suite information leaked by Amazon.[Via MacNN]

On my CS3 Design Premium pre-order it had this for an estimated availability date "Pre-order Estimated Availability Date Monday, April 16, 2007".

I wouldn't depend on Amazon as a source for release dates, I'd wait for independent confirmation.

I find it hard to believe that Photoshop CS3 with by an Intel only product. There are plenty of G5 PowerPCs users that can easily run it. Beside the beta ran on the PowerPC Mac.
Amazon also lists some of the new Adobe software as being for "OS X Intel" only. Hopefully that won't turn out to be the case and my iBook G4 is still plenty for my portable needs.

'Availability: Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 weeks. Dispatched from and sold by Amazon.co.uk.'
Wasn't CS3 supposed to have new features that relied on technology in Mac OS X 10.5? If so that would mean we can probably expect OS X 10.5 to ship by then.
