iTunes civilizes the p2p teen
Does iTunes prevent piracy? That's what this report (registration required) from the UK's PC Pro seems to conclude. 36% of US teens bought music using online stores in 2006, up from 28% in 2005 and 20% in 2004. P2P network use for obtaining unlicensed music fell at the same time according to the article, although the numbers are based on unreliable surveys, and the reported number of p2p-using households actually increased last year.

Just kidding - I'm a big fan of your writing.
ps, if iTunes was as quick at putting House (and others) into my download queue as "TVShows" (great app) i'd buy in

HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!
YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!
apple actually thinks that teens have now decided to buy $1 songs of itunes with F***ing annoying DRM instead of getting it for free.
wait lemme guess
Apple thinks this happened just because of the wonderful itunes interface.
i mean cmon its all shiny like the ipod
y wouldnt someone buy it
ok ok in all seriousness
i do believe that teens have had a moral change in their lives, they even started a boycott at school, our mascott is steve jobs. only problem is that i dont get it they have so much money cuz when i look at theitr computer they have 36,000 songs so im going to estimate that cost them $36,000.
NO WAIT I FORGOT!!!
apple is loyal to their customers (i mean besides the fact that they pull out a new ipod every six months so that u have to pay another $350 because I guess Steve Jobs tells u too, but hey hes god right?)so they give u a great deal u get one free song every 100 u buy so u save about $360 not to mention the "awesome" album deals which shaves off another $400 i guess
So wow my friends payed around $35,000
all because of apple.
am i the only one that sees something fishy about this?
and thats my rant for today...
