i think that this update is likely, i was on the site earlier and presto! it has vanished into nothing more than contact info and a sticky saying, "We'll be back soon." Could be a busy day for the Apple servers too. But that is everyday.

I think there will be new lappies. Did anyone get a look at the refurbished mac page before the site went down? It was full of stock with all types of refurbished Core Duo and C2D macs. There weren't any refurbished Macs yesterday. And they were cheap. 1029.00 for Black Core Duo Macbook. Gonna see what happens later today and will probably pick myself up one of those refurbished macs. Apple is definitely selling old stock for new laptops.

Well today is the launch day for Final Cut Studio 2. Coincidence? I think not.

Apple Displays at a number of stores here [Melbourne, Australia] have been on "clearance" for about a week. It's probably just retailers jumping on the Apple price drop from a couple of weeks ago and making it look as if it was them lowering the price, but maybe we'll see new displays as well?

On the frontpage, there's an ad now "Same lovable MacBook. New lovable speed." Is this an old ad or has Apple pumped up the specs on the old MacBooks?
