Video highlights of the Steve and Bill show
In case you missed the Engadget liveblog of last night's lovefest between Big Mac and El PC, the folks at the D conference have posted complete video coverage and a highlight reel (above) of Steve and Bill's excellent adventure. Enjoy the show, and please open any hard candies in advance of the feature.

That's no lady, that's Walt Mossberg.

The edits are frustrating. I'm a Mac user all the way, but I'm not so narrow-minded that I don't want to hear what Bill has to say. Seems every time he speaks, they cut back to Steve or Walt. WTF?

simply, Steve was funnier than Bill. the edit is just about fun answer.

Follow the links to see the entire, unedited conversation.
Kara Swisher is the cohost of D and Walt Mossberg's deputy at the Wall Street Journal. She's conducting most of the interview sessions at the conference along with Uncle Walt.

The edits are frustrating. I'd like to see the whole interview. Anyone know if it is available somewhere?

It was an interesting, however, uninsightful interview.
How did that lady get her job? She obviously knows little about tech and is a horrible journalist. She kept asking such stupid questions and making comments that she didn't know how to finish (when she said anything at all). Walt kept interrupting her and Steve was practically rolling his eyes at her.

Wow. The last comment out of Steve and the level of his physical discomfort in the situation. The camera doesn't lie.
I hope he's OK. That was a doozy.

Yes Bill let me tell the story! With all do respect Bill Gates just lacks the power of telling a good story. I'm not saying either one ( or windows) is better but every time that man opens his mouth I feel like a bleu screen is just waiting to pop.

i feel bad for bill gates, you look at him and you realize he just wants to stop. for years, people have just harrassed him. hate him or not, he made this main stream, apple just made a better product. but you can see in his face whenever he speaks, hes only doing it to help his company because he knows balmer would blow it.

This was an interesting clip i have to say! For whatever it's worth, and whatever people think about MS and Bill Gates, i respect him for what he's done and i personally think he deserves a place in the history. It's kinda sad sometimes to see them(MS&BG) being always bashed for everything they do.Don*t get me wrong, i'm a switcher and i love my Mac and plan to stay with them too, but i did love Windows too before i met Mac:)
Just my 2 cents....

Does anyone do awkward silences better (or worse) than Bill Gates? Wow. There's absolutely no doubt when Gates is feeling bothered. That facial expression would look great in a Mylanta ad.
Reminds me of the painful dialogue with Conan O'Brien a few years back.
Note to Bill: don't ever play poker.
