Pangea releases TabMeister

Pangea Software is best known for their games, but now they've brought out a new productivity utility called TabMeister. Basically it allows you to add pull out tabs to the edge of your screen which "act like pop-up folders containing icons of all of the things you want to have access to." In addition, as you mouse over the contents of a the tab, the icons and names are zoomed on your desktop.

In some ways TabMeister looks a lot like the recently retired Drop Drawers with a bit of added eye candy. So anybody who previously used Drop Drawers but doesn't want to follow the upgrade path to DragThing should have a look at TabMeister.

TabMeister is $14.95 and a demo is available.

Looks like the poor man's DragThing. I would highly recommend anyone consider this give DragThing a try. It's $14 more but it's a much more mature and feature-rich piece of software.

I've used Safari since I started using Macs and I'm very happy with it. How does Safari rank?
