Scott on CNBC now in iTunes

In today's world, media cannot be lost but only transformed. In this specific case, TUAW's Scott McNulty's appearance on CNBC is the transformation target; if you had trouble watching the clip of the Face2Face segment in CNBC's Windows Media embed on their page, the video is now available in the iTunes Store as a podcast. Watch Scott try to get a word in edgewise as the chatty traders shout over each other; not to be missed.

Thanks Ricky

Macskeeball, yep, it actually says it in the podcast description, at the bottom of the paragraph

I'm in the US and I'm getting the same error message. Weird.

I live in Spain, and I could subscribe to the podcast, but when I try to download an episode, an error message pops up:

There was a problem while downloading "blah blah blah"
An authorization is needed to access "http://podcast.cnbc.com.edgesuite.net/FM-FaceToFace-061107.mp4"

What a bummer! grrr

Fraserdrew, are you saying that podcasts (which do not require purchasing) on the iTunes store are US only? That would be strange if true. I would give it a try if you haven't already. I don't even think podcasts require an iTunes account.

Although, I suppose it's possible that it may not be an iTunes thing and the server that's actually hosting the content may be banning certain IP ranges.

That was frickin hilarious! "I just love that technology with the touch screen where you can turn it..."

Those guys seem like the stereotypical jocks from high school who went into sales because they don't really understand technology. Scott, I commend you for your patience.

Cheers,
FL
