Im 13 years old and i am buying one. But get this- I am ordering it online so i don't have to deal with the retards (representatives) in the stores who don't pay any attention to me because i am short and young. Last night i went into an ATT store in CA and the rep was totally clueless. I asked him what the expected turnout was and he was all "we havent even been briefed on the data rates yet, we are being taught tomorrow within the hour of launch" and then he told me "It would cost you 29.99 to add you per month to your dad's plan" and i said "so you do know the rates" and he said "no" and then i said i will order it online and he said "no, you cant do that, you have to come in store to activate itand the limit is one per individual so if 5 in your family wants one 5 people have to come and wait in line" and i said "At Apple.com it says you can buy and activate from the privacy and sanity of your own home through iTunes" and his response was "thats right" so i said thanks and went two doors down to Panda Express.

I'd like to be in line for an iPhone as well—but there won't be any iPhone today in Germany. Very sad ;-)

I didn't look if Canada was getting it in, but I doubt I'll be able to afford it... Le tragedy.

I'll be stopping by the Apple Store Palo Alto tonight (the closest store to Cupertino), just to see some of my old co-workers, and soak in the insanity for a while. I don't think I'm buying one just yet, but I may get caught up. I'll be getting the phone at some poitn for sure, but I think I can wait on it 'till there's info about the headset. I just can't imagine spending that much money for a headset that has ANY negative reviews. I love what I'm hearing about he jawbone, but holy hell is that thing ugly.
