Found Footage: iPhone shipment arrives in NYC
The only thing more impressive than the long line in this video is the fact that I sat here for 3 and-a-half minutes just to see a bunch of cardboard boxes leave the back of a delivery truck (The mini ping pong table was cool, too).
Can you feel the anticipation, New Yorkers? Because it's getting out of hand.
Thanks, Hamish!

I was having coffee this morning at the Starbucks next to the Apple Store at the Domain in Austin. The security guy wouldn't allow a line to form, so instead the 10 or so people were sitting in the benches in front of the shops near the Apple store. Twice a Fed Ex truck came down the street and everyone stood up like it was Santa coming down the street in his sleigh. They were crestfallen to find the deliveries were for another store.

The palate was stacked with cartons 8 high by 5 wide by 3 deep. The question is, how many phones per carton? Based on this:

I'd guess about 9, which gives us 1080 phones per pallet. Sound reasonable to me.
