Steve shows up for iPhone launch
Steve made an appearance at the Palo Alto Apple Store just moments after the West Coast release of the iPhone. This video, which shows Steve pushing his way through the surprised throng, captured the tail-end of his visit.Watch as the blows off the guy who tries to shake his hand on the sidewalk. We don't love Steve because he's nice.
Thanks, Kenneth!

I fail to see how it's disrespectful of someone to point out that Mrs. J is hot. It may, however, be borderline disrespectful for me to point out she has a great butt.

June 30 2007 at 10:42 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMan, the link doesn't work for me neither. When I load the page in Safari, in the placeholder for the video I see this small text:
You need Quicktime 7.0 or higher for viewing this presentation. Download Quicktime from here!
And yes, damnit, the page and video works correctly in Firefox.
Oh, by the way, his testimonial of the moment.

He describes it as "sweat moment".
The guy that tries to handshake him is actually a friend of mine from New Zealand that works with me as a Software Engineer. I called him today and he said Steve did say "Hello" but as we was trying to avoid the press he skipped him.
Anyway, check my last post for the full story. I'm also featured there :-P (http://mywheel.net/blog)
Am I doing something wrong? The video doesn't work for me.

Still not sure why he was there but his behavior seemed reasonable to me. His wife even hugged the doorman.
