MockDock for your iPhone

Despite the lack of a proper SDK iPhone apps have become a cottage industry. An industry that makes no money for those that are whipping up these apps, it is true, but who needs money, right?

The latest iPhone app that has no business model, but a very cool concept, is MockDock. MockDock is a simple webapp that links to a number of other iPhone ready apps. The clever part? It mimics the look of the iPhone home screen, so you add apps to your 'Dock' and go from there.

Mock Dock requires your email address to sign up, but it is free.

Try out mojits a similar application launcher for iPhone. In addition to just being a launcher, it has ratings, tags, comments, etc. It'll help you find AND launch mojits.

I am glad to see such innovations, each one of these tools seem to offer new functionality that another one may have not thought of yet.

I have a similar application launcing system, also requires no sign-up (other than for adding other applications, right now).

I also host my own iPhone game, Blackjack, at the same site.

This is kinda rad, mostly because it has already launched. I'll be looking out for LaunchPadHQ, as it looks more polished and follows the iPhone's UI styling more closely. Does essentially the same thing as this one though.
