It is the apple corporate themesong from 1983 that steve dances to on stage right before showing the 1984 commercial
"what a feeling... tommorow's much better because apple is leading the way!"

Ya, it would make me more interested to see if this modded iPhone remains able to sync to iTunes post hackery. Otherwise the appeal of CTU grows dimmer. This coming from a hardcore fan of 24. (Well except for the latest season)

Is it my idea or is the limitation of ringtones a real daft thing? Unless the carrier forces you to use a "buy ringtones" solution for their profit the only reason I'd think of is get brand recognition by having people hearing apple's selection of ringtones and maybe get them as recognizable as the Nokia one.

Why do you say that? If he knew what he was doing he'd remove the hack that allows him to insert the ringtones after he was done putting the files on the phone. The syncing issue is only a problem while you've broken yourself out of the chroot'ed jail that you're normally in during restore mode. Once the jail is put back in place, everything is okay.

This clip didn't say anything more than the header of the post. He should have showed how to do it! And don't chew gum while being filmed.

Maybe it's just me, but shouldn't a video about an iPhone hack be posted in an iPhone-viewable format (*cough*h.264*cough*)?

A bad as my phone is: I still can download ring tones. (Though none are worth it on this thing).
