iPhone camera problems and solutions

Apparently some people are reporting problems with the iPhone's camera producing green-tinted pictures. iPhone Atlas suggests that the problem is probably being caused by some defect in the iPhone's automatic white balancing. Fortunately, they also suggest some post-processing solutions with iPhoto or Photoshop. So, dear TUAW readers, have any of you experienced the green tinting in your iPhone photos?

Skaderino - I'm having the same problem with my iphone camera. It's just a black screen in the camera application. My phone is a mod, so I don't think apple will exchange it. We need to get this fixed! Have you heard of anything yet?

Green tint just started on my new iPhone. Apple store replaced the phone, no charge. Get AppleCare.
mine are pink in the middle not green. mostly during low light situations. and it is limited to the center.

What the iPhone atlas says is correct... Prob with the Auto white Balance.
Or you could just stop viewing it as a negative thing - hey, look at the Matrix! The whole first part of that movie was made with a slew of green-tinted camera lenses!

That's from my friend Roddy anyway...
