iSale updates bring Safari 3 compatibility and over 200 templates

Whether you make a living from buying and selling on eBay or you merely sell off your basement junk when it gets too crowded down there, iSale is a fantastic eBay client that merges the wonders of Mac OS X with the world's leading online marketplace. Offering beautiful tempaltes, WYSIWYG auction composing, integration with iCal, Address Book and iSight, a Dashboard widget for monitoring auctions, Google Maps and worlds more, iSale has everything you need to get your eBay on.
Like so many other web-integrated Mac OS X apps, however, iSale was hit with compatibility issues if users installed the Safari 3 beta. Fortunately, a couple of recent updates have fixed those issues and added over 30 new templates to bring the grand total to more than 200 different auction templates, organized by category. With a wide variety of template styles, imagery and layouts, you'll be hard pressed to not find something that'll fit just about anything you post for auction.
This most recent v4.2 of iSale is a free upgrade for registered 4.x users, and a demo is available. A single user license costs $39.95, while family packs start at $49.95 and go up from there.

iSale: a cool-looking piece of software that serves no purpose. I used the demo a while back and found it didn't make adding an auction to eBay any easier, nor did it affect the final price.
eBay keeps making it easier and easier to sell your stuff anyway.

iSale rocks! It has helped me make over $10,000 on eBay selling stuff in my garage. Also, I have noticed much higher than market pricing on the same items. You're auctions look better, have more pictures, and everything is very professionally presented - so, higher sale prices are to be expected.
Idiots are still, idiots. No piece of software will help you if you're a fucking moron!

I just purchased GarageSale and I'm finding it unbearable.
I think I'll give iSale a try.

I tried both and found Garage Sale much easier and faster to post auctions. Garage Sale also hosts your images for you, so you don't have to deal with a 3rd party service, if you don't want to.
iSale looks better, but I still think Garage Sale is the way to go.

If you really into eBay and you will find iSale is nothing but trash. Search "iSale sucks" on Google, and you will find tons of articles about how this piece of junk fails to help you with selling stuff on eBay. I used to be an iSale user, but after I bought the full version of the app, I felt so sorry I did it. I should've given more time to try the beta version. I think a lot of people consider iSale good because of two reasons: 1. they visit the iSale website, it looks relatively better than your eBay listing, so you think you will get a fantastic looking item listing if you use it. 2. you never use GarageSale. Frankly speaking, I knew both apps (iSale and GarageSale) before I bought iSale. My reason why I decided on iSale was also their websites (but not the apps). Go to GarageSale website and you will find it looks much like a wiki. Trust me, don't buy iSale. Do a little research on Google and stuff. Give the beta more time. You'll understanding what I'm talking about.
