Ars Technica unboxes a new iMac
When Steve said those new iMacs were available today, he meant it. One of the lovable staffers at Ars Technica couldn't resist the siren's song of the new iMac. Since they are, you know, geeks they took a series of unboxing pictures which we are required, by law, to link to. Don't blame me, I'm just doing my duty as a card carrying member of the Mac Web.Apple was kind enough to include a nice, soft cloth with which to wipe the screen clean of all your friend's drool.

@miguel: Yep, gonna have to agree here. I am a month old switcher having purchased in late June and I honestly believe I dodged a bullet there, it looks an awful lot like my TV. It's not ugly per se but it's just uninspired.
As a late up grader I got my imac in july, Its been known for a while that apple was redo the imac. Am i sorry I didn't wait another month? nope not at all. The more I look at the new imacs the less I like them. How fast of a computer do you need to write email, listen to music and shop on the web? I am thinking about getting the new bluetooth keybroad. I also think the new keybroad will go great with the mac mini.

This new iMac really does look like an iPhone turned into a mac. And I must say I like it.
