Ars Technica unboxes a new iMac

@miguel: Yep, gonna have to agree here. I am a month old switcher having purchased in late June and I honestly believe I dodged a bullet there, it looks an awful lot like my TV. It's not ugly per se but it's just uninspired.

As a late up grader I got my imac in july, Its been known for a while that apple was redo the imac. Am i sorry I didn't wait another month? nope not at all. The more I look at the new imacs the less I like them. How fast of a computer do you need to write email, listen to music and shop on the web? I am thinking about getting the new bluetooth keybroad. I also think the new keybroad will go great with the mac mini.

Its just prettier on the outside isnt it? like a ornament rather than a developer tool...A pity about the graphics card, Im dissappointed overall

This new iMac really does look like an iPhone turned into a mac. And I must say I like it.

That keyboard hits me wrong, it's thin, but who ever bought a keyboard because it was thin? I wanna know how it types...
