I tried it. It is much better than before. The controls don't seem to stick, but I don't see multi touch support. I can only press one button at a time (makes mario rather hard).

How do you install it?

ROMs go into /var/root/Media/ROMs/NES. The application goes into /Applications.

The multitouch support is still a bit sluggish, but as an acquaintance says; it's "almost playable"

Now all it needs is a landscape mode with the buttons either side of the screen, a la DS!!!

Way I see it, if we have near perfect/perfect NES, SNES, GBC, GBA, PSOne, and soon N64 emulation on the PSP platform, the iPhone, running a desktop class OS should handle it easily. Go homebrew!

Asking people working on their own time to do exactly what you want is pretty lame. There may be people who don't want to dance with Apple Legal and won't work on an unlocker. If you want an unlocker so bad, work on it yourself. Don't try and order people around when they're doing good for others for no pay.

I placed the app in the /Applications folder and I placed the ROMs in the /var/root/Media/ROMs/NES folder and nothing happens.
Should I have an icon on the main screen?

Most iPhone owners couldn't care less about an unlocked phone. NES emulation is of course, quite sweet. Contra baby!

I already have a phone so I couldn't care less about unlocking. Bring on the software.
