CoverSutra iTunes controller 50% off today only

I'm a big fan of CoverSutra, Sophia Teutschler's sexy and incredibly useful iTunes controller. It gives you global keyboard shortcuts to skip and pause songs, display album artwork in a jewel case in popup notifications or permanently on your desktop, and it can even interact with the Last.fm music community to share the list of songs you're listening to.
CoverSutra is easily a good deal for its standard $20 price tag, but for today only, software discount outlet MacZOT is selling it for just $9.95. Get it while it's hot.

Quicksilver does the same thing for free...

#3: As a happy user of both Quicksilver and CoverSutra, I have to say: Quicksilver does *some* of the same things for free, but they're a heckuva lot harder to set up. CoverSutra comes right out of the box with keyboard shortcuts set and helpful tutorial information that is clear and straightforward. CoverSutra can also work with the Apple Remote.
Quicksilver also doesn't talk to Last.fm out of the box, if at all. A quick check of QS's plugin section reveals that there still isn't a Last.fm plugin.
In summary: no, Quicksilver doesn't really do what CoverSutra does. It offers a complex, clunky workaround that you have to manually set up to get half the same features.

@3/4: I'm a big Quicksilver user, and for a while tried using it to control iTunes... It's not hard to set up or anything but I guess because it does the iTunes control through a series of Applescripts (or something), it is painfully slow! I'd definitely plunk down some cash for a snappy controller, and CoverSutra has been my fave for a while now.

I was never able to get Quicksilver's iTunes notification to work as described in the various bits of documentation, so I gave up and switched to SizzlingKeys instead - works great and it's free. Plus I never really understood the point of throwing up a big GUI on the screen for this. Why not just use the resized iTunes window to access the controls? Also, a nice thing about SizzlingKeys is that if you DO need the cover art and title permanently displayed on the screen, you can assign a shortcut to toggle that option too.

I don't like the opacity. I want a solid window. How about a
preference to let me set that?
Go into a Starbucks and look at their Plasma screen showing
music playback. It's almost exactly like this software, except
it's solid on the screen and a nice color background,
which I'd also like to choose. But one thing at a time.
