iMac take apart photos
While I don't feel compelled to disassemble brand new equipment, I will watch someone else do it. If you're like me, check out this photo set depicting the take-apart of an iMac. Note how the glass is removed, the blue board, the trio of fans...and the voided warranty.Enjoy your Thursday afternoon geek pr0n.

being the first to take apart brand new toys is typical linkbait . . . it's smart, but I would never do it . . . it'd hurt too much!

what a shame that Apple build in such a cheap TN-Panel from LG Philips

I'm always amazed to see how everything is packed in these computers, but saddened to see one pulled apart like this.

I just wish Apple used the LG LM240WU3* (LCD panel) for the 24" also I hope I can replace the ATI HD 2600 PRO with the XT. Yet the Apple using one that is 750:1 / 380 cd/m2 if I remember correctly.
* 1000:1 / 400 cd/m2 / 5ms
Other then that, I really do like the new iMac.
