iPhone vs. dog: 1 - 0

The sight of a poor, defenseless Nano getting smashed under a tire was bad enough, but a dog versus iPhone story? Well, that's enough to bring a tear to the eye. Tyler Hall left his iPhone on a table recently while he took a shower and it seems his dog mistook it for a Snausage.
Luckily, Tyler pried the phone away from Gracie before she could totally destroy it and the ringer/speaker seems to have sustained the most damage. The screen protector did its job and when Tyler removed it, there wasn't a mark on the glass.

In fact, aside from a few teeth marks on the bottom, the iPhone seems to have help up pretty well.

Tyler seems to have taken the whole thing in stride. So what's the reason he's not angry with Gracie? I'm guessing it's because she's so darn cute.

Any idea on what it would cost to repair the cosmetic damage done by the cute little dog? I checked iFixit.com, however they don't seem to carry the casings in stock at the moment. Possibly, they don't have access to Apple spare parts yet? I recently dropped mine and and the aluminum casing is now bent. Now the mute switch on the side of the phone is jammed in place....luckily in the on position, but do I feel really stupid. These beautiful phones are sure slippery!

Three minutes into the shower I had my shirt off, and was taking of my soaking jeans when I felt something hard in the pocket. Imagine my horror to pull out my iPhone directly under the stream of water. Amazingly it worked fine, never missed a beat!

You don't think a 9lb dog can do so much damage :) I will have to remember to always leave my phone up high or always have bones out.
