iPhone Tech Talks

The Apple Developer Connection will be offering a series of iPhone Tech Talks in October and early November. The iPhone Tech Talk will give you a chance to ask Apple how to make your Web 2.0 app sing on the iPhone (though probably not literally). Like all of Apple's Tech Talks these events are free to ADC members, but you must register ahead of time because space is limited. The iPhone Tech Talks are taking place in the following cities:
- Boston, MA 10/09
- Philadelphia, PA 10/11
- Washington, DC 10/12
- Seattle, WA 10/22
- Minneapolis, MN 10/25
- Atlanta, GA 11/05

Agreed. Boycott the Apple Developer Connection until they are actually willing to work with developers.

September 25 2007 at 1:21 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI can just imagine the Q&A sessions:
Q: "When's the SDK coming, so we can write proper apps rather than dorky web pages?"
A: "No comment. Next question, to you in the front row, sir."
Q: "I'd like an SDK too."
A: "No comment. To you in the far corner."
Q: "Native code runs 600x faster than JavaScript. Why can't we do it?"
A: "No comment. You, sir, in in the back row."
Q: "Can we at least put links to our web "apps" on the SpringBoard?"
A: "No comment. Er, you, in the middle, looking less hostile."
Q: "I'd like to attend WWDC in 2008 and learn UIKit. Will that be possible?"
A: "No comment. To, er, the guy sitting next to the one with the bucket of tar, feathers, and book titled 'How to lynch an Apple Rep.'"
Q: "Why should you get to make the cool iPhone apps and not us?"
A: "No comment. Over to you, ma'am, near the exit."
Q: "Hi, my name's Erica, and I'm hosting a class on iPhone Objective-C Programming in the next room. I can show you how to make apps that not only sing, but dance the Cha Cha. Who wants to come?"
[Everyone stands up and leaves the room, leaving Apple Rep looking lonely.]
what, non in L.A.
Ludicrous...
