This is bullshit. The iPhone is not coming to Canada anytime soon.
Its a mistake on Apple's part to add the iPhone workshops to Canada's 4 stores. They were likely updated along with the hundreds of US stores.

it was confirmed with a retail associate at the eaton centre apple store
that the iphone workshop on there webpage is an error..
unfortunately.

they also had them scheduled for nov 3rd in some canadian stores...which id say is proof this isnt right.

I have one, my girlfriend, 2 of my best mates, and I see at least one iPhone everyday.

Yes - go to the USA, buy iPhone, bring it home to canada.
Unlock it yourself - its easy with modmyifone.com, and enjoy.
disable EDGE - there are plenty of wifi hotspots around for free.
oh and F*CK Rogers, who have presumably bribed someone at the CRTC to allow them their nasty monopoly in Canada.
Is canada a real country? Well, not really - kind of like the UK in the fifties at times, with a slice of that other phony country, the US, thrown in....
Very straitlaced, way too much Xtianity, very little adventure, lot of 'proud to be canadian' nonsense.
Typical stupid country, to be honest.
Flag waving and corporate suits and a kind of stasis - way too much fear.
