Canadian iPhone in time for the holidays

Finally. The Canadian iPhone. Joe Maur pointed me to this new iPhone for the Holidays page at the Apple Canada online store. So the wait is over. Soon, you'll be able to pay way too much to Rogers for your very own personal iPhone--although we have yet to find plan specifics. Happy Holidays, Canada!
Thanks Joe
Update: Readers are saying that this is just a copied US store page and shouldn't be taken as an actual Canadian release. My bad.

If they are so bad, stop coming back... I love getting any bit of iPhone coming to canada news that may be out there... We are dying up here...
Wow, TUAW, how hard is it to fact check? I mean, go to apple.ca and look for yourselves. I have to say, this is it, you guys officially are the worst Apple blog.

BTW Erica,
I liked your Isles stealing the Rangers' post-game salute to the fans earlier this week! Makes me want to support them just that little bit more. That, and Ted Nolan is a pimp.
Also, the iPhone is in Rogers purgatory, just like North American local calling (or even within Canada) at a reasonable rate.
My Canadian iPhone is working splendidly! Especially with my "virtually unlimited data" retention plan that Rogers gave me for threatening to leave for greener (Telus ulimited internet) pastures.

November 09 2007 at 11:17 AM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI just. Broke down and picked up the iPod touch... I live on the east coast of Canada, and truth be told, Rogers Cell coverage just plain blows over here. And unless something is done about the exorbinant data fee with rogers here in Canada I really don't see the iPhone doung well here... What we really need is another GSM based company to invest in their own cell towers to encourage some movement in the data plan prices...
Right now the iPod touch is filling the void where I would like the iPhone to be... With a little hacking of course...
Many of us already have a "Canadian iPhone." :-D
