iPhone MMS Application released
iPhone Developer Tommy Svensson has just released an iPhone MMS application allowing you to send MMS messages with your iPhone. This app does not enable the iPhone to receive MMS, just to send it. Being an early release, you can only send images (no movies) at this time.
The MMS app is not yet released via Installer. You can download a copy directly from Swirly Space and install it manually. For more information, check out this ModMyiFone thread.
Thanks, Dima Kovalev.

Good news, got the MMS to work on Cingular/AT&T. Had many problems at first, then switched my phone to the family plan with other phones on the plan, then added the unlimited text/mms plan and it works like a charm now.

Sooooo....I guess you need to call cingular/att and have them activate pay per use MMS. $.25/ea
I haven't done it yet......but that's what the consensus is at Modmyifone.com
I still can't get it to work, using the following settings:
mmsc.cingular.com
066.209.011.032
I'm jailbroken (obviously), 1.1.2 on AT&T.
URGH.
Yeah I had no luck either. Same settings/setup
December 07 2007 at 8:24 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI just use the Mail app and send images to friends at&t number addresses and they can view them on their phone. For them to send them to me, they just send them to my email, which they have programmed into their phones. Not a big deal.

Why would anyone PAY PER MESSAGE for MMS when they could easily send an unrestricted email message for free.

This is actually availible via installer by adding the MMi source: http://modmyifone.com/installer.xml
December 07 2007 at 6:29 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyI just use the iPhone's email and Teleflip to send AND receive multiple recipient MMS and multiple recipient SMS (and emails) at once.
I used a simple AppleScript to automatically parse my mobile numbers and add the appropriate Teleflip email address to that user's account.
