iPhone 1.1.3 frameworks documentation is live

If you're hungry for more inside information about the iPhone 1.1.3 firmware, be sated: the frameworks documentation for the new version is up and readable over at a familiar site. We were wondering why Erica had rigged for silent running over the past 36 hours, and apparently it's because she's been working at a furious pace to check out the revised frameworks on the iPhone.
You can read the details over at Erica's site now. She declined to say exactly where she got the firmware she's documenting.

Awesome. I hope Apple's upcoming SDK also documents synchronization methods for the calendar, notes, etc..

So... It means that hackers are one step closer to JailBreak of 1.1.3?

which is stupid, why not just wait for the SDK to come out in a month and get great apps then? I don't understand the obsession of jail breaking the iPhone. I guess I just like my stuff to work.

Because, jailbreak runs apps without them being digitally signed, SDK made apps will require to be digitally signed, which isn't free. Plus, not everyone will have access to the SDK so the prospect of homebrew isn't very high. Even when the SDK is released there will still be jailbreaks for iPhone firmwares because people will want to make apps for their iPhone/iPod Touch for free, if Apple wants them on there or not.
And don't forget, SDK made apps will not be able to unlock the phone's carrier, while all soft-unlocks for iPhone have and will continue to be through jailbreak ran applications, not SDK made applications.
