Of course, one main qualm people may have with this is "just how secure is my data?" The 1Password data is saved in the bookmarklet itself using "448-bit blowfish encryption". Users set up password to use with the bookmarklet, and 1Password outputs all your data in an encrypted format to sync via iTunes' 'Sync Safari Bookmarks option'. Once on the iPhone, you navigate to the page such as Pownce, choose the bookmarklet, enter your previously-set password and choose the login you wish to use. All the form filling, and form submission, is handled by the Javascript.
I've been long-in-need of something like this for the iPhone -- the typical 'too many usernames, too many unique passwords' scenario -- and using it this evening, it's been mighty handy. If you're wanting to get your hands on it, simply set your copy of 1Password to check for beta releases (all the usual beta disclaimers apply) and download the most recent release!

Really neat, but i'm having some trouble getting it to work. After I get the black pop-up and enter the password, nothing happens. I've tried it with autosubmit checked and unchecked. I don't see a button to manually submit... but nothing is happening.

What happens when you tap on the Form name?
What is the site URL so we can test?
Cheers!

Go to prefrences in 1password and in updates tab there is a box to check beta updates. Check that and then check for updates.

In "Preferences" in 1Password select the "Updates" tab. Click on the box that says "Include BETA versions when looking for updates." That's it. Click on "Check Now" and you are set.

Is there any way for this to work WITHOUT a password? Like, I have a site I visit a lot and don't care about the security of my password on it, so is there any way I could have a bookmarklet that just fills it in for me?

Currently all your data is protected by your Access Code you provide when Syncing to iPhone, so it is not possible to skip the password for any websites.
We are planning on adding the ability to define a "Security Level" on individual Web Forms. We could add an option for "None", and any saved logins with this security level could be exported w/o Encryption and AutoFill could simply avoid asking for the password.

It works with iPod Touch. It works through a newly created bookmarklet called 1Password Logins.

OK, I'm being dense. I just synced to my iPhone. How do I access this functionality? Where is the bookmarklet? Do I need to do an iTunes sync after the 1Password sync before I'll see it? Where does it store it?

To use it it, just click on the "Sync to iPhone" button in 1Password while on your desktop machine, then yes, you will need to Sync your iPhone via itunes. When you are on your iPhone and visit a site requiring any username/password info that you have saved, don't select anything on that site, just go to a Bookmark on your iPhone Safari called "1Password Logins" and a small window will appear, prompting you for the 1Password general password. that's it. It basically works just like it does in your desktop Safari. But instead of clicking on the "1P" button that would appear in your desktop Safari, you have to go to this Bookmarklet, which does the same thing.

Make sure you have the "Sync Safari bookmarks" enabled in iTunes when you connect the iPhone.
Also, new screenshots on the Switchers' Blog might help:

This is a great solution to not having Copy/Paste on the iPhone. It works really well except for on Google site. When the pop-up DIV appears, it's not the top most DIV. So you can see the "titlebar" of the DIV with the close button, but the rest of the DIV window is below the part of Google you are currently looking at.
I'm sure the 1Password folks will find this and fix it soon. (Hopefully they are still reading this blog post. :) )
