Last week we put out the call to our readers for pictures of i
Phones in non-carrier countries and the response has been amazing! Thank you to everyone who has sent in your pictures, I can't wait to put up the gallery. If you haven't sent in a picture of your (or someone else's) iPhone in a non-carrier country, there is still time. If you can shoot an e-mail to photos AT tuaw.com by the end of today (January 31, 2008), we'll be happy to include your submission.
Look for the gallery and a map of non-carrier iPhone users sometime next week. Thanks again to everyone who has taken the time to send us pictures!
Update: In my excitement, I neglected to put the timezone. We'll be accepting photos until 12 AM PST.

Hey we are in Argentina (South America) we don't have news about an ETA for iPhone here but you can find an unblocked iPhone easy in our country, are really expensive but available, a lot of user base and good service, saddly when we have a problem the warranty is not available. Just look in our local eBay like sites to check:

Regards from the southern country

Just a thought:
Lots of Americans assume that non-Americans would know what PST or MST or EST etc. mean (I had to google PST to find out it's GMT-8).
Why not use GMT±X, since you're calling for international photos?

OK, GMT-8.

Because NO ONE in the US would know what GMT is!! :-)

Maybe we could make another compilation of photos from U.S. territories with standard AT&T service, where Apple refuses to sell iPhones!! For one, there's Puerto Rico...
