Downloading? I'm waiting for bloody 'We are processing your request. Please wait a few moments then refresh this page.' to stop showing up so I can start downloading!

In case anyone is getting the annoying message "We are processing your request." over and over, then try this route. It worked for me as long as you have an ADC membership which requires a login id and password. Instead of going to the iPhone Development Center, I first went to the ADC main login area. Go to http://developer.apple.com/ then click on the ADC Member Site link in the top right of the page. Once you are at the Developer Connection site, login to your account. Then click on the Developer Connection logo in the upper right (I know this is tedious but it worked for me). Now click on the Visit iPhone Dev Center link. Since you are already logged in with ADC, you should automatically be logged into the iPhone Dev Center and now are able to download to your heart's content!

Hey the SDK is a Beta in case anyone did not know. On the ADC site it says this about interface builder:
"Note: Interface Builder is not in the early beta of the iPhone SDK. It will be available in the final release of the product."

Not until the 2.0 firmware is released.

Lame.

You can't. You need a certificate, and to get that you need to pay the $99, live in the US and be hand picked by apple.

Is there any way to run the sample Apps on my iPhone instead of just in the emulator? When I plugged my iphone in while running the SDK it asked me if I wanted to use my iPhone, I said yes. It shows up in the "organizer", but I can't seem to figure out how to install apps on it.

From reports I've seen, you cannot run apps on the actual hardware until you pay your $99 for a signing key.
mack said 12:17AM on 3-07-2008
Definitely have to sign up and get your certificates to run on a real device. See:

That seems to my experience, which sucks because the simulator won't do 3d graphics (which is what I want to develop).

So far, we still don't know if it's already possible to test our own program on our own phone, right ?

Nevermind, option-drag.
Cory Bohon said 11:53PM on 3-06-2008
You hold down the option key while clicking the mouse.
