Video of Apple iPhone Roadmap event is up

Couldn't stop refreshing the various liveblogs covering the Apple SDK event? Neither could we. Fortunately, in case you missed any key details, Apple has now posted a streaming video of the entire presentation. Just the thing to watch while you wait, and wait, and wait for your copy of the SDK to download. (Seriously, developer.apple.com is getting hammered like a steel drum at Carnival in Rio.)
If you spot anything in the video that you think we missed, let us know below.

I noticed when Steve talked about smartphone marketshare, he only mentioned actual phone manufacturers. Combined, i bet all Windows Mobile devices are a significant market force.

March 06 2008 at 7:43 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyhere i was going through the comments about to add this thinking no one else saw it, but you did! yes, the icon for calculator looked like it had square buttons as opposed to round ones.
maybe they'll incorporate more calculation features in the lackluster calculator that should be on the last page of apps on the homescreen because of how infrequently it is used
Does anyone know of a way I could capture/download this so that I could watch it on my iPod Touch (without net access)?

March 06 2008 at 4:56 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyThey also changed the Calculator icon to have more square shaped buttons - it's starting to get ridiculous how often they keep changing that icon...
March 06 2008 at 6:10 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down Replyis anybody able to watch this directly on their iPhone?
March 06 2008 at 4:52 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyIt could possibly be meeting the same fate as developer.apple.com
At least we can read the blogs for now.
Now Apple has announced that iPhone 2.0 software will be out in June, does that mean that there will be no more 1.x.x updates?
Open URL in Quicktime Player to watch in full screen.
