One thing that this post doesn't say is that the new firmware makes your machine unstable as hell. If you aren't a developer, stay far far away from this. Developers (and Windows users) are used to the pain and suffering of beta software - but you definitely don't want to deal with this stuff just to play around. Use the simulator until you're ready, because once you update to this release your baseband will be updated and there is no easy way to go back.

Agreed 100%. Even as a legitimate developer, do not load this until you *have* to test on a real device, or unless your development device is not your primary phone. I've been force-quitting apps & resetting my phone several times a day.
