The WiFi fix doesn't work. It just hard-codes a MAC address and it ends up making the "Find network" switch go away. :(
It also crashes opening the .dmg file and adding the apps is a pain!
Such a disappointment compared to iLibertyX

It has the same bsd error as the old 2.5 for me on my 16GB ipod touch. Has anyone else been able to make it work on their IPT?

I jailbroke my iPod Touch (1.1.4) using ZiPhone 2.5. It's working fine. Is there any reason to jailbreak using ZiPhone 3.0?

Hey Gryan, did your previous jailbreak all you Tube to work properly? Mine didn't after I restored my iPhone to 1.1.4 in itunes and ran ZiPhone 3.0 it all works now, YouTube, Goog works properly, Wi-fi etc. so that may be one of the changes between 2.6 and 3.0 of ZiPhone....just a thought.

ziPhone is a joke, I can't tell you how many people I've had to try to help fix their greyed-out wifi. And hard-coding a Mac address? Jeez.

Well, I ran this with a previously jailbroken Iphone (done when 1.1.4 came out) and the only issue i've had is the youtube not connecting...
Ran this new ZiPhone and still nothing. Not even the "Youtube Fix for 1.1.4" works.

YouTube not connecting? I didn't even get to try that. But doesn't it say "YouTube fix is no longer needed"?
So where's the fix?

I just ran it on my touch, and broke it, it is now unable to connect to iTunes at all, having a hard time restoring. Piece of $#!?

you need to put your iPod in to recovery mode. To do so, turn it off completely, and then hold down the menu button while connecting the USB connector, this will take it in to recovery mode and connect to iTunes where you can restore it.

Dont use ziphone
Its just copying iLiberty+ and iPlus features.
As mentioned before it will hardcode a mac adr. into your iphone when its "fixing" your wifi.
"embeded apps installer" lol...thats just payloads from iliberty+
Zibri is a joke

I used Ziphone 3.0 on an iPhone 1.2 OTB upgraded to 1.4 and it worked perfectly the first time. In fact, I have Act/Jail/Unlocked about 2 dozen iPhones with all the OSx GUI versions of Ziphone and never had one with issues. I haven't tried iliberty+.

@Jason: is there a quick fix for the greyed-out WiFi problem? I restored several times and used different unlocken programs, with no results as yet...
