Pwn your iPhone using Windows
Yes, you can has winpwn -- for beta values of "can has". Pwning an iPhone means preparing it to accept custom iPhone firmware bundles (ipsw files) in iTunes. Winpwn 99.1.8 Beta has been released for public testing (though keep in mind that this particular tool is for use with Windows).
If you're wary of beta releases and not an early adopter, you'll probably want to keep waiting. There is no 2.0 support. You may run into LIBUSB errors (apparently fine, meaning you probably just don't have no ibooter). You must have 1.1.4 firmware loaded onto your unit in order to pwn it -- whether for Mac or Windows. The developers strongly request that any new users start with this tutorial. For more help, check out the #winpwn and @winpwn-devel channels on irc.osx86.hu IRC server.

Nice attempt but looks shoddy to me. Will wait for the full version.

Wow, Erica. I think that's one of the most poorly written articles you've ever written.
For one thing, what in the world does the first line mean? Can has?
And your period needs to go INSIDE the quotation mark.

I'm curious. Why is it that periods go inside the quotes when they aren't a part of the quote? That never made any sense to me and strikes me as almost as stupid a rule as turning a period into a comma if the quote comes in the middle of a sentence. If you add or change punctuation to a quote, it is no longer a quote.
I tend to to treat quotation marks as delimiters indicating a literal and in that context, '"can has".' would be correct.

Oops. Add punctuation to or change punctuation in. My point is the same.

Ok, first of all it's a "full stop" but that's not my point (excuse the pun). Period is AmE, FS is BrE.
the full stop (or in your case, period) can either be inside or out of the quotation marks. American English's grammar suggests it to be inside, while British English wants it outside.
I do not understand wtf "can has" is, so nevermind to that.
P.S. I speak British English.

Works great for a Beta, finally upgraded my 1.1.2 iPod Touch to 1.1.4, pwned it, then built a custom 1.1.4 firmware with Installer preloaded and worked like a charm. Only thing that was difficult out of all this is learning how to get applications to work right in 1.1.4.
