American anglophiles, rejoice! Three
BBC America shows have just been added to the iTunes Store line up. The shows are:
A good start, I would say but I'm holding out for
Bargain Hunt and
How Clean is Your House? Oh, and that show about
that doctor would be nice too.
All the BBC America shows cost the usual $1.99 with the entire seasons ranging in price.
Thanks, Theo.Tags: bbcamerica, itunes

YAY! Torchwood! I agree, though, they need to add the Doctor, too. BBC America runs older episodes, the new season is on the SciFi channel, just started last week (or the week before, if you count the Christmas episode).
As for the new Doctor, David Tennant, he's "FanTAStic!"

I was always under the impression that it was ITV who owned "How Clean is your House?" :S I guess the BBC must have licensed it from ITV to show it in America...
Ah well...
Oh and I wouldn't hope for Doctor Who yet. Not even the UK has it, yet... I thought it would have been one of the first on there... Well, Series 4 will have ended by July (Over here) so hopefully we'll see something Who-ish by then.

How clean is your house is Channel 4 but I think BBC have The US rights to the programme (although not the format). I'm not sure if BBC America has the download rights to Dr Who or not.

Doctor Who airs on the Sci-Fi channel here, and not BBC America, so I wouldn't expect it to show up in the BBC America lineup. Unfortunately I think NBC is involved with Sci-Fi somehow so it might be some time before Apple is able to sell the show.

We need Doctor Who, Absolutely Fabulous, and Shameless (an incredibly great dramatic/comedic show about class warfare in Britain).

I vote for Who and AbFab too!. I would also like to see A Bit of Fry & Laurie and Blackadder, but that's a little too much to ask right now.

They don't even sell those in The UK so I wouldn't hold out much hope.

This is pretty sad. Until this year, many of those shows were available for free viewing on the BBC site. Now there's an error message stating "Access to this site is restricted." since you're outside of the UK.

People in the UK pay a license fee for BBC content. People abroad don't. So UK viewers are not actually getting it for free and it would be unfair if people abroad did.

Hooray for "Robin Hood"! Now if only they'd add the first season (er, pardon me, "series"), that would be great!

Torchwood, but not Dr. Who? That makes as much sense as Torchwood does.
